Now more than ever, environmental and safety issues have become a priority for printers and their customers. Here you will find information and resources you need to become a sustainable green printer and understand, establish, develop, and maintain your environmental, health, and safety requirements.
The EHS Affairs department is your partner and voice. It is our goal to provide you with effective and efficient assistance to give you the ability to concentrate on the business of doing business.
Our team is here to answer your questions, provide crucial resources such as sample written programs to meet regulations, and guidance on what needs to be done to meet the ever-increasing demands for green printing. Our staff can even come to your facility and work with you to set up and implement EHS and green programs, provide consulting, or conduct employee training. Think of us as being your own professional EHS staff.
The EHS Affairs Department also plays a vital role in shaping the actual regulations that you need to meet. The EHS staff is actively engaged with many agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). When regulations are proposed that would affect the printing industry, the staff takes action by educating the agency about the impact on the industry and negotiating changes toward a reasonable balance. To help make existing regulations less costly, we work with the agencies to obtain favorable interpretations or develop projects designed to streamline and reduce regulatory burdens.
